TOUCHSCREENFOR UNLIMITED EFFECTIVENESS
The touchscreen is the most versatile form of capacitive control. Using a computer as a host system, it can execute and display a wide variety of applications. This makes application and control options practically unlimited. Glass sensors or film sensors are available, depending on your requirements. Our glass sensors are completely manufactured in RAFI facilities. As a result, we have no procurement problems or long delivery times. It also gives us the flexibility to meet all your requirements.
We use maXTouch technology in our GLASSCAPE touchscreens. Developed by our partner Atmel/Microchip, maXTouch is the most stable and easily parameterized evaluation system on the market. This makes it ideal for many fields of application. The system can be optimized to your specifications of speed, disruption-resistance, and number of fingers.
This solution simultaneously recognizes and implements up to 16 finger contacts.
BALL OF THE HAND RECOGNITION
When a person rests the ball of his hand on the screen, this is not sensed as an input. Instead, the electronics system filters it out. At the same time, finger operation remains unaffected.
OPERATION WITH STANDARD GLOVES
The user can keep his gloves on when operating the system.
CLEANING DURING ONGOING OPERATION
The system recognizes cleaning and does not input any data.
ITO GLASS SENSOR MADE BY RAFI
This RAFI glass sensor is available in diagonal dimensions of up to 24". It comes with an even wider temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. That prevents damage from extreme temperatures which are not unusual during storage and transport.
YOUR BENEFITS AT A GLANCE
- Standard sizes available up to 24"
- No supply difficulties thanks to in-house manufacturing
- Long-term availability
- Temperature range from -40 °C to +85 °C
- Customized sensor design
- Optical glass bonding
Our minimum delivery scope comprises a front glass panel, an optical laminated sensor, evaluation electronics, and a mechanical integration interface. You can also ask us about complete solutions.
ITO FILM SENSOR
The film sensor can also be used for small diagonal dimensions. Its minimal thickness (approx. 0.5 mm) and low weight make it ideal for ultra-flat or curved applications. However, at -20°C to +65°C, the temperature range is narrower than that of the glass sensor.

The evaluation electronics form the heart and soul of any touch system. They constantly monitor changes as they occur. Evaluation starts as soon as a change is detected. The data determined then goes immediately to the host system. Our touchscreens come with various Atmel maXTouch evaluation electronics systems. You benefit because we build cost-optimized touch systems.
