When you merely visit our Web site, we do not collect any personal information. This means that you can visit our Web page without disclosing to us who you are. We only gather the name of your Internet service provider and the IP address used for accessing our Web site, the Web site from which you access our site and the pages you access on our site. Collection and processing of non-personalised information

Whenever a user accesses our Web site, i.e. each time you retrieve or try to retrieve a file from this server, data about this activity are stored in a log file. These data are non-personalised, i.e. we cannot keep track of which user retrieved which data. We do not attempt to collect this information, either.

In detail, the following record is created for each retrieval activity:

  • Name of the file retrieved
  • Date and time of retrieval
  • Data volume transferred
  • IP address
  • An indication of whether the retrieval was successful or not
  • An indication of why a retrieval failed
  • The name of your Internet service provider (for example, our log file only reflects that an AOL or T-Online user visited our site, but it does not reveal the actual user)
  • Operating system and browser software of your computer, where applicable
  • The Web site from which you linked to our site

We analyse this information for statistical purposes only. We use this information to continuously improve our Web site for your convenience.

Restricted use and disclosure of personal information

We collect personal information only if you specify the data explicitly, for example, when contacting us directly.

Your data are only processed or used for the purposes of consulting, advertising or market research if you explicitly consented to these purposes. Processing of these data is not performed in any third country outside of the EU.
